Child & Family Resources

Family walking

Family litigation affects real children living through real changes.
This section collects responsible resources concerning:

  • child development;
  • attachment;
  • family relationships;
  • parental separation;
  • high-conflict family environments;
  • co-parenting;
  • family systems;
  • emotional security;
  • parent-child relationships;
  • childhood resilience; and
  • the long-term consequences of family instability.

TCMP does not assume that every intact household is healthy or that every separation is harmful.

Some children require protection from abuse, neglect, violence, addiction, or dangerous instability.

The proper objective is therefore not preservation of family structure at any cost.
It is the protection of children through decisions grounded in truth, evidence, lawful process, and careful attention to the child’s actual circumstances.
